TO THE FAMILIES OF TALIESIN MYRDDIN NAMKAI MECHE & RICKY JOHN BEST,
We at the Zainab (as) Organization of Greater Seattle would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families of Taliesin Meche and Ricky Best – both who were tragically and fatally stabbed on May 26th, 2017.
In these sad times of animosity and intolerance, Taliesin and Ricky stood up for love, peace and harmony. Their sacrifice delivers a strong message of hope to millions around the country, and the world – a message that speaks of unity and compassion. Through their selfless act, Taliesin and Ricky proved there are people among us that will stand up for what is right and just, regardless of the consequences. Undoubtedly, they are heroes, and we are all proud of them.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the families, and to all those that knew and loved Taliesin and Ricky. Although no one can understand the pain the families and friends of these two are experiencing, we hope they can find some solace in knowing that Taliesin and Ricky’s brave act inspires all of us to take a stand to make our world a better place, and to strive for love and understanding amongst each other.
We hope the families will receive this letter as a symbol of our support, and as our respect towards Taliesin and Ricky’s heroic act in defense of humanity.
May we all continue to live with love and harmony amongst each other.
