Spiritual Fitness(dimension) Spiritual dimension or fitness are described in so many different ways. I will give you one example related by Aimmah which is fundamental relating to believers. There are three types of believers:"Followers"1. Those that simply follow others 2.Those that look at the mirror of life and see the reflection and act accordingly.3.Those that are like the quality of gold. The more they suffer, the more they shine. These are the best of believers and are truly free. We are walking as climbers on the mountain of life whereby certain mountains see steeper than others. Although these mountains look rather more dangerous, it is the desire of the athlete to reach the summit. As you climb higher, the realization of what appeared so big seems less significant and small in nature and the goals are aimed higher. The continued journey effects different pains to parts of your body even though the heart is hungry to see at least above the clouds. Those that look down constantly remain proud and feel they are bigger than everyone else which is still far from reality; these people are the "followers" of what they see people are doing. Than those that look at the ground out of fear climbing as they are more aware of their environment as they are reflecting and pondering and trying to adapt to the changes of circumstances; These are the "followers" of the mirror or reflectors. With so many different surfaces on the mountain top if you are not careful of each step you take may get an injury or pain of some sort. We see more important than progressing faster on this mountain is the care and precaution you must take to be able to advance further. Similarly, the sins are more harmful and painful to the soul than doing good deeds. The key to excel is take extreme precautions of the correct footing before simply wanting to advance. For instance, many people are learning from the uneducated to progress and advancing (false lure), but not realizing that the rope holding them is being over stretched creating a total fall towards the wrong direction. Proper precautions (avoiding sinful acts) and proper training (right teachers and wajib acts) will allow you to advance further with strength and be able to cope with the weather of any external harsh environments that may pass your way. Thus, you see the true athlete prepared always focusing his site up toward his target like a shooting arrow with very little concern of distraction. His aim determined that manifests all pain as insignificant and through proper preparation from people of great council of past "followers" he is prepared to endure the shortness of breath amongst the high peaks as he reaches heights far superior than any of those other climbers. The only difference between him and others are his determination towards excelling at all costs and his preparation to condition himself through proper training before making such a journey. An athlete who risks at the long fall of such heights is mourned by many as a great athletic tragedy, but by his competitors as one who is a hero and remembered for his bravery and courage (martyrdom). These athletes shine like gold as "followers" and triumph in the eyes of Allah based on their efforts and their faith to pursue the summit of perfection.
